Aircraft type limits refer to parameters that are specific to the operational capabilities of the aircraft "type" e.g. An Airbus A320. These limits can be hardware, weather, or performance-related factors.
Operational Limit Sets refer to parameters defined in the operational rules that specify the conditions under which the aircraft can be operated within the framework of a mission. This can also include they same parameters as in aircraft type limit sets - but potentially are even more restrictive.
Define limit sets for different flight phases. You can create a single limit set for the entire mission or specify limits for each phase, such as takeoff, en-route, and landing.
Next, select the parameters, the limit range type, and the threshold using the "+" button. You will see that you can currently choose from multiple parameters.
The parameter limits can be set using 4 different types of limit thresholds. Thresholds with corresponding units can be set at the transitions between value ranges.
For certain parameters the height at which parameters should be evaluated can also be specified.
You can use the same parameter multiple times e.g. to be aware for wind speeds at different altitudes.
